Annual July 4th Golf Cart Parade
Every year we invite those in our neighborhood to decorate a golf cart, bicycle, car, or anything you may have with wheels, and ride with us around "the circle", a two mile route around the church on the lake. Parade starts at 10am and is followed by free homemade ice cream!
We invite the neighborhood and community into a time of fellowship to see who can cook the best chili! All are welcome!
New Neighbor Welcome Baskets
As a neighborhood church, we try to welcome all new neighbors to the community and live as Christ calls us to live, which is to "Love thy neighbor as oneself" Matthew 22:36-40.
Neighborhood Health Fairs
Our Faith Community Health Ministry is devoted to the care and education of our community! She plans informational health fairs and offers care to those in our community who may need a RN's knowledge!
We have a "Randalls Ferry Community Food Pantry" located in front of the Branch. Your donations are available for people to take and excess is taken to the Norwood Food Pantry.
Norwoord Community Table
We serve meals regularly at the Norwood Community Table. Including, serving on Christmas day. We welcome any volunteers, please reach out to us if you'd like to help!
Food Drives/School Supply Drives
We regularly host drives for our local food bank and schools as they run low on supplies they need to fulfill their ministries.
At Christmas we particpate in Stanly Community Christian Ministries' Angel tree program where we commit to supply Christmas gifts for children and older adults in need.
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done; on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen.
Local School Support
We believe it is our responsibility to care for and support our local schools. We love to show our support by offering the teachers blessings throughout the year and hosting drives for needed items.
